Experience

Rachel (she/her) is a Research Intern hailing from the vibrant city of Tiohtià:ke, also known as Montréal, situated on the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka Nation. As a Research Intern, she works closely with the IBA Team collaborating on various projects. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Development from McGill University and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Concordia University. She is also currently working towards her Master of Environment in Environmental Assessment also from Concordia.

One of her deepest interests revolves around Indigenous-led assessments, a field that she is truly passionate about. When she is not diving into research and assessments, you can catch her at the ice rink, figure skating, or enjoying quality time outdoors with friends and family. Rachel cherishes the community spirit at Firelight and eagerly contributes her expertise to an organization aligned with her commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
