Indigenous rights are increasingly being recognized, but this shift in rights and power creates both opportunities and challenges for Indigenous groups, proponents, and governments who may wish to find common ground in development and environmental assessment. What lessons have been learned that can help move Indigenous rights from promise to reality?
The session will be organized as follows:
• Individual presentations of approximately 15 minutes, each followed by a brief question period.
The deadline for abstract submission is 20 November 2017 (submissions close at 11:59pm Central Standard Time).
