Boyd Barrett, MRM, completed the Master of Resource Management program at Simon Fraser University where his research provided recommendations geared towards improving the survey methodology that is currently being used to collect data from white sturgeon anglers.

Boyd’s background includes research in artisanal fisheries management and community development in rural Jamaica and work as a GIS data entry technician at the National Environment and Planning Agency, Jamaica. Boyd is a researcher on the Traditional Use Study team and also a member of the GIS team.
