Cameron Gunton is a Research Analyst with Firelight, working on the Indigenous Negotiations team. He is a euro-Canadian settler that grew up and lives on Territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, including the Songhees and Xwsepsəm Nations, in Victoria, BC. Cameron received a PhD and Master’s in Resource Management (Planning) from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a minor in Business from the University of Victoria. He has a background in impact benefit agreements, benefit-cost analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, natural resource governance, environmental impact assessment, and multiple account evaluation.
