Location: Airdrie | Treaty 7 Territory, Territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai Nations, the Tsuut'ina Nation, and Stoney Nakoda Nations, comprising of the Goodstoney, Chiniki, and Bearspaw Nations, Métis Nation of Alberta located within Rocky View Métis District 4.

Mr. Jacob (he/him) is a member of the Webequie First Nation and resides in Treaty 7 Territory. Joel has joined Firelight as Research Manager supporting the Environmental Assessment team. He studied Environmental Studies at Lakehead University. He has over 13 years of consulting experience focusing on Environmental and Regulatory compliance of energy projects throughout Western Canada. Throughout his career he has gained valuable experience in Project Management, Environmental Planning, Regulatory Compliance, and Permitting.
