Experience

Dilek (She/her) has over a decade of experience in environmental project management, with a focus on land use planning, regulatory compliance, impact assessment. Her work emphasizes collaboration with Indigenous communities, ensuring that cultural values and traditional knowledge are integrated into resource management and decision-making processes. 

Previously, she served in key roles within the Government of Nunavut, leading environmental assessment and land use planning. Dilek has a Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa. 

Her interests include exploring the outdoors, learning new languages, camping, cross country skiing and involvement in community projects.
