Stephanie Chan, MSc

Experience

Stephanie (she/her) is a Researcher supporting the Ecology team at The Firelight Group. She is currently living and working on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, in Prince George, British Columbia. Stephanie completed her MSc in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia. Her research focused on the impacts of the changing Arctic marine environment on marine subsistence species informed by Indigenous and scientific knowledge to promote shared decision making. She also holds a BSc in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from McGill University. Stephanie brings her expertise in fish and wildlife research, with particular interest in collaborating with Inuit communities in the Canadian Arctic. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys skiing, mountain biking, climbing, and knitting.
