Amanda is a Junior Researcher with The Firelight Group supporting the Regulatory Team. She is currently located in Montreal where she is completing her Masters of Environment in Environmental Assessment at Concordia University. Her interests lay in Indigenous topics that tie in with environmental law and policy. Amanda grew up on the West Coast in Vancouver where she completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Environmental Geography and minoring in First Nations and Indigenous Studies.

During her free time, Amanda is most likely outdoors with friends, where she likes to explore new landscapes by bike-packing or hiking. You can usually find her with a camera in hand.

She is really looking forward to learning and growing with The Firelight Group!
