Neha is a Junior Researcher with The Firelight Group supporting the Regulatory and Environmental Assessment teams. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Management from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and specialized in Conservation and Planning Management. Her Undergraduate Thesis was based on protecting native grasslands in Alberta using different invasive species management techniques. Neha has worked for First Nations in Northeast BC for more than three years, advocating for meaningful consultation and providing referral reviews through community engagement processes. She is an avid environmental practitioner and strives to expand her knowledge on sustainable development of natural resources through culturally appropriate Indigenous practices.

Her hobbies include trying to finish reading the books in her ever-growing to-read list, and learning new languages.
