Firelight Group researchers Jonaki Bhattacharyya and Molly Malone and Firelight Director Craig Candler will be presenting this week at the Society for Applied Anthropology’s Intersections conference in Vancouver. Drawing on their work with Firelight, their presentations will touch on a number of topics ranging from the role of anthropologists in reconciliation, protecting rights through tribal parks, and what protecting rights means in different contexts.  Craig Candler is also participating in an expert panel to discuss how anthropologists have supported the recognition of indigenous rights.
