We are pleased to announce our Indigenous Mapping Workshop in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 26-28, 2020. This event is being co-hosted by the First Nations University of Canada, situated in Treaty 4 territory, on the territories of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation.

We are partnering with the First Nations University of Canada, the Saskatchewan Aboriginal Land Technicians (SALT), the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN), and have technology partnerships with Esri Canada, Google Earth Outreach, Google Canada, Mapbox and NASA.

IMW Regina will host up to 150 participants, and provide hands-on training to use mapping, GIS and remote sensing tools.
