Raised in High River, Alberta, Emma completed a BA & Sc. in Ecology and Science Communication at Quest University in Squamish BC. Her thesis work focused on pollination systems and community conservation engagement, leading to 6 years of work in landscape stewardship and public education with Not-for-Profits and Alberta Parks. She has a keen interest in understanding the diversity of human relationships with landscapes and how these relationships can be supported. She is excited to work and continue learning with the Firelight team.
