Jessica graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Geography specializing in Environment and Sustainability. Focusing her studies on GIS and Cartography satisfied her inherent curiosity to better understand spatial problems and visualize results creatively. She has done GIS analysis for multiple projects spanning landscape ecology, socio-economics, and land-use mapping. After completing her studies, she worked as a GIS analyst to help combat invasive species in the Lower Mainland.

When she is not digging into data, you can find Jessica camping somewhere on the Pacific Northwest.
