John’s background is in team leadership and organizational management. As a team leader he has an extensive background in remote fieldwork and emergency response. As a manager his experience includes incorporating expert knowledge and stakeholder perspectives into organizational practice and product delivery. He has training in pure sciences as well as an advance degree in Resource and Environmental Management from Simon Fraser University (2015), where he was interested in organizational accountability of environmental non-profits.
